PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the learned trial Court to dispose the case in S.C.No.127 of 2022 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Fast Track Mahila Court, Theni, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 482 Cr.P.C., seeking orders to direct the learned trial Court to dispose the case in S.C.No.127 of 2022 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Fast Track Mahila Court, Theni, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. Now the grievance of the petitioner is that repeated threat has been made upon him. Because of the above said life threat only, the petitioner is seeking speedy disposal of the case.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in S.C.No.127 of 2022, next hearing date is 16.03.2023 for framing of charges and warrant has been issued against the sole accused.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that accused is in custody, but however warrant has been issued.

5. It is for the prosecution to take steps to produce the above said 2/4

accused before the concerned Court on PT Warrant. Let the trial process be completed within five months from the date of production of the accused.

6. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
