O R D E R

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation of the case in Crime No.89 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and to submit final report within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondent.

3. The petitioner is the defacto complainant and she lodged a complaint which was registered in Crime No.89 of 2016 for the offences under Section 448, 427, 506(i) and 147 of I.P.C. Alleging that there was no further investigation and progress in this matter, this petition is filed.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost over and final report will be filed within a period of two months.

5. Hence, the Criminal Original petition is allowed and the respondent is directed to file final report/Charge Sheet in Crime No.89 of 2016 within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
