BEFORE THE MADURAI BENCH OF MADRAS HIGH COURT Dated : 04.03.2019 CORAM :

THE HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE G.R.SWAMINATHAN W.P(MD)No.3931 of 2019 P.Ruby ... Petitioner Vs.

The District Collector, Tirunelveli District.

... Respondent PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2019 as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.R.Anand For Respondent : Mr.K.Mu.Muthu Additional Government Pleader

ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner wants to disposal of her representation dated 24.01.2019 by the respondent/District Collector.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent rightly points out that the petitioner's representation is not clear and she wants action to be taken against certain private persons. If that be so, the petitioner will have to seek relief elsewhere. Filing a writ petition is not the remedy. Therefore, keeping the writ petitioner's rights intact and giving liberty to move the Civil Court, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
