The petitioner, who is an accused in Crime No.606 of 2023 has approached this Court, seeking a direction to the respondent police to file a final report in the above Crime number. 1/4

Mr. M.Sakthi Kumar, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the petitioner is a notorious criminal involved in five cases and on the date of occurrence, the respondent police, on search has recovered a Pistal along with seven bullets from the petitioner. In the Pistal, it was mentioned that the pistal is meant for the use of Army and a request has been made to the Indian Army to ascertain as to whether this Pistal belongs to Indian Army or not. A reply has been received from the Indian Army that the Pistal does not belong to the Indian Army. Therefore, the respondent police has sent the Pistal to the Forensic Laboratory in order to ascertain as to whether the Pistal has already been used at any point of time and they are awaiting a reply from the Forensic Laboratory. 3.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), this petition is dismissed. 04.06.2024 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No Internet:Yes vrn 2/4
