ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent herein to return the Original Title Deeds deposited by the petitioner's father

late.K.Pitchai Kannu in respect of the property covered under Deposit of Title Deeds, vide Document No.7215/2011, dated 10.10.2011, deposited with the respondent Bank vide Loan Account No.31980182936.

Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent Bank submitted that the respondent Bank is ready to hand over the original documents to the petitioner. However, since the title holder has passed away, all legal heirs are required to visit the branch to receive the documents.

3. In view of the above, no cause of action survives as of today. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, with the direction to the respondent Bank to hand over the original documents requested by the petitioner and the other legal heirs of K.Pitchai Kannu, in accordance with the law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
