*********** This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus seeking for a direction to the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 01.02.2021, seeking to restore the patta in the name of the petitioner within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner has filed the aforementioned statutory appeal before the respondent, aggrieved by the cancellation of patta on 01.02.2021. The petitioner seeks for early disposal of the said appeal in this writ petition.

3.No prejudice would be caused to the respondent or the rival claimants of the petitioner if the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner is disposed of expeditiously within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Accordingly, this Court directs the respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's statutory appeal dated 01.02.2021, aggrieved by the cancellation of patta in his name within a period of eight [8] months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after affording a fair hearing to the petitioner and other rival claimants, if any.
