This writ petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.06.2023 and to delete the entry as Panchamar Tharisu in S.F.No.209/6 to an extent of 58.0 Ares situated at Kidaripatti Village, Melur Taluk, Madurai District.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 5 submitted that the representation of the petitioner would be considered and disposed of by the second respondent/ District Revenue Officer, in accordance with law, within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 2/5
3. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent/ District Revenue Officer to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.06.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Such representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry, affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner and to all other persons who may be affected by such decision during the course of the inquiry. In the event of any issues pertaining to land disputes, the parties shall approach the competent civil court. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
