ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2018, requesting to treat the removal of service of her father as VRS and to grant monetary benefits to the petitioner. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's father was working as an Assistant in the Tahsildar Office at Thirumangalam. Due to his unauthorized absence, he was dismissed from service. After his demise, the petitioner made a representation to the respondents to treat the removal of service of her father as VRS and to grant monetary benefits to the petitioner. Since the same has not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

3.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation would be considered on merits.

consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2018 one way or the other and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

5.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
