O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting to perform the program of Adal Padal on 09.06.2018 at night 07.00 p.m to 11.00 p.m in Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman, Sri Bhagavathi Amman, Sri Kilaviamman Thirukovil is situated at Bharathipuram, Pallapatti Post, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District and to provide adequate police protection based on the petitioner's representations dated 08.03.2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.According to the petitioner, he made a representation dated 08.03.2018 to the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting to perform the program of Adal Padal on 09.06.2018 at https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

night 07.00 p.m to 11.00 p.m in Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman, Sri Bhagavathi Amman, Sri Kilaviamman Thirukovil is situated at Bharathipuram, Pallapatti Post, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District. As no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed this writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's representation is still pending with the second respondent. Therefore, this Court may pass appropriate orders to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law.

5.Considering the submission made by both parties, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.03.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner shall enclose a copy of a representation dated 08.03.2018 along with a copy of this order to the second respondent.

6.This writ petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
