ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to provide employment to the petitioner on the basis of G.O.Ms.No.55, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (PA2) Department, dated 28.08.2017, within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents who submitted that the claim of the petitioner would be considered, as per G.O.Ms.No.55, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare (PA2) Department, dated 28.08.2017, and appropriate orders be passed by the respondents within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3. In view of the above submission, this Court, without going to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner as per G.O.Ms.No.55, Adi Dravidar and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Tribal Welfare (PA2) Department, dated 28.08.2017, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
