Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to remove the petitioner's name from the History Sheet record in H.S.No.689 of 2016, which is being maintained by the third respondent as per his representation dated 12.03.2021. For Petitioner : Mr.B.Jameel Arasu For Respondents : Mr.S.Chandrasekar Additional Public Prosecutor

ORDER

The present petition is filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to remove his name from the H.S.No.689 of 2016. The main grievance of the petitioner is that his representation dated 12.03.2021 has not been considered till date. 2.Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents, on instructions, would contend that the representation submitted by the petitioner is pending for consideration.

3.In the circumstances, the Deputy Superintendant of Police, Pattukottai, Thanjavur District, is directed to dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner based on findings and on merits, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order/uploading of the order, keeping in mind the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
