ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to provide the police protection by consider the petitioner's representation, dated 02.12.2024.
2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner is the owner of the property in S.F.No.483/10 to an extent of 435 square feet at Maravapatti, Kalingapatti Village, Marungapuri Taluk, Tirchy District. While so, the private respondents, who are the adjacent land owners causing hindrance to the petitioner by letting the cattle into the land. Already the petitioner surveyed the land. While laying survey stones, the private respondents restrained them and threatened with dire consequences. Thereby, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 30.11.2024 and CSR No.582 of 2024 is assigned and thereafter, no action was taken. Thereafter, the petitioner sent a representation, dated 02.12.2024 and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition. 2/5
3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the official respondents would submit that there is a property dispute pending between the parties and thereby, the petitioner lodged a complaint and CSR No. 582 of 2024 was assigned and the same is under enquiry. In the meanwhile, the petitioner has sent a representation, dated 02.12.2024 and the same is also under enquiry. Therefore, they will conduct enquiry and dispose of the representation as well as CSR No.582 of 2024 within a week.
4. Considering the limited scope of prayer sought for in this petition, this Court even without issuing notice to the private respondents inclined to dispose of this petition.
5. Since the representation of the petitioner is under enquiry by the second respondent, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the enquiry and dispose of the petitioner's representation, dated 02.12.2024 after affording opportunity to both the parties, within a period of one (1) week from the date of this order.

6. With the above said observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
