O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking for a direction to direct the first respondent herein not to cause illegal harassment against the petitioner.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the second respondent already filed a complaint on 16.10.2019 before the Inspector of Police, Panavadali Chattiram Police Station, Tirunelveli District for the same allegation, stated supra and an enquiry was conducted and the case was closed. Thereafter, for the very same allegation, the present complaint has been filed in order to harass the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner prayed not to harass the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the respondent police would submit that it is purely a commercial transaction and the respondent police is in need of certain materials to complete the investigation. Further, the respondent police undertakes not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

4. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent not to harass the petitioner.
