The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition for a Mandamus, to direct the respondents to conduct survey and demarcate and put up survey stones in Survey No.142/1B, Maruthangudi Revenue Village, Kurayur Firka, Kallikudi Taluk, Madurai District, with appropriate police protection. 2.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.C.M.Mari Chelliah Prabhu, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the Surveyor has already surveyed the petitioner's land in Survey No.142/1B, Maruthangudi Revenue Village, Kurayur Firka, Kallikudi Taluk, Madurai District and therefore, the relief sought for in this Writ https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.5473 of 2020 Petition has become infructuous. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the Surveyor has already surveyed the petitioner's land and he has not put up any survey stones in the said property due to some objection raised by the neighbours.
3.Recording the abovesaid submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this Writ Petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the authorities concerned in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
