ORDER

The petitioner's mother made an application dated 09.02.2009 to the third respondent, seeking appointment on compassionate ground, due to the demise of her deceased husband viz., Thirumoorthy. Thereafter, she made a representation dated 12.12.2017 requesting the authorities concerned to grant employment on compassionate ground to the petitioner, who is her daughter. The said applications are still pending without passing any orders. Hence, this writ petition has been filed.

2.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that if any such representation is pending, the same will be considered on merits and appropriate orders be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

passed by the respondents within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

3.On a perusal of the typed set of papers filed by the petitioner, it is seen that the petitioner has enclosed the representation dated 12.12.2017 along with acknowledgment. Therefore, the respondents are directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.12.2017, seeking appointment on compassionate ground and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to say that the petitioner shall furnish a copy of the said representation to the respondents.

4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
