Praying to direct the 2nd respondent the Inspector of Police Vedachendur Police Station, Dindigul District, to give necessary Police protection to the life of petitioner and the Pudavai samy function in petitioner house on 07.08.2016, based on the petitioner's representations dated on 25.06.2016 and 25.07.2016.

ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the second respondent to provide adequate police protection to the life of the petitioner and for a function to be conducted in the petitioner's house on 07.08.2016, based on the representations dated 25.06.2016 and 25.07.2016.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1 and 2.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that there is a serious threat on the part of the respondents 3 and 4, who are trying to create problems in the function to be conducted by the petitioner on 07.08.2016. Hence, two representations have been sent to the second respondent. As the same have not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that the respondent police will consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders.

5.In view of the above submission, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2016 and to pass orders in accordance with law. 6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
