O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to grant adequate police protection to the petitioner's property to survey his lands comprised in S.No. 128/6 measuring 0.26.0 ares equivalent to 64 cents having Patta No. 1407 situated at Pullalkottai village, Virudhunagar Taluk Virudhunagar District pursuant to the order of this Court in WP(MD) No.20303 of 2022, dated 30.08.2022 and the 2nd respondent's letter, dated 11.10.2022.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner has sought for police protection only to conduct survey and the survey has already been conducted by the respondents. Therefore, prayer of the petitioner has become infructuous. 2/4

3.Since the main purpose seeking police protection to survey the land was already been carried out by the respondents, the prayer sought for by the petitioner has become infructuous. Hence, this petition stands closed.
