This petition has been filed only for issuing a direction to the second respondent to file a final report in crime no.154 of 2016.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that due to heavy rain and disaster in the district of Kanyakumari, the investigation is temporarily suspended. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, further states that the final report is likely to be filed after completing investigation.

4. Recording the statement of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the second respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
