ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to dispose of the disciplinary action, initiated against the petitioner by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Thoothukudi, dated 24.04.2009.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that before passing final orders, the petitioner should appear before the second respondent for personal enquiry. But, even after issuance of sommons on 25.06.2018, 27.12.2018 and 21.01.2019, the petitioner was not turned up for enquiry and therefore, no orders have been passed on the disciplinary proceedings. 3.Such submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader is refuted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, who, in turn, submitted that the petitioner is always https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

willing to appear before the respondents and to cooperate for enquiry.

4.In such view of the matter, the petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent on 22.04.2019 and thereafter, appropriate orders be passed forthwith by the respondents. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
