ORDER

It is an application seeking a direction to the second respondent not to interfere in the civil dispute and not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents. 3.The nature of the complaint runs as under:

One Sangu Krishnan and Palpandi supplied construction materials to the petitioner, who is a Government contractor. As the petitioner is not able to pay the amount for the materials supplied, the said Sangu Krishnan and Palpandi have preferred a complaint against the petitioner before the Manoor Police Station and in the name of enquiry, the police officials called the petitioner and tortured him without any valid reason. Hence, the petitioner has given a representation dated 21.07.2016 to the first respondent and as the same has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner being a Government contractor, can make the payment only after receipt of the amount from the Government. 5.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondents would submit that the litigation is 'civil in nature' and therefore appropriate instruction had been given to the petitioner to work out his remedy before appropriate forum. 6.Recording the submission made, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
