This petition is filed for a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to give adequate police protection to survey and demarcate the properties in Survey No.298 / 15 in Plot Nos.101, 102, 159, 160, 161, 162 and 163 situated at Thiyagi viswanathadhass Colony, Ittari Village, Melapalayam Sub-Registrar Office, Palayamkottai Taluk, Tirunelveli District based on the petitioners' representation dated 17.02.2020.

2.The petitioners are the owners of the properties in the above survey numbers and already they have filed a petition to survey the land. When the surveyor came to the spot, the third respondent prevented the surveyor from measuring the property. Hence, the petitioners made a representation on 17.02.2020 to the respondents 1 and 2. But, till date no action has been taken and hence, the petitioners have come up with the present petition. 3.The learned Government Advocate [Crl. Side] appearing for the State would submit that if the petitioners have made a request for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.[MD]No.4930 of 2020 surveying the land, adequate police protection will be granted if the situation warrants.

4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 17.02.2020. Further, the law enforcing agency shall ensure the survey conducted by the survey department.
