The petitioner seeks a Mandamus directing the respondents to release the husband of the petitioner, who is a life convict, on parole, for a period of one month.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has sent a representation on 01.03.2022 seeking parole to her husband.

3. Mr.S.Ravi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, upon instructions, would submit that the representation that was received on 05.03.2022 has been forwarded to the local police at Tirunelveli for their report. He would also assure that the representation will be considered.

4. In view of the above, it is suffice to observe that the respondents will consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.03.2022 under the applicable Rules and pass orders thereon within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
