Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec. 438 Cr.P.C. ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences under Sections 174 of Cr.P.C altered into Sections 147, 148, 201, 202, 203, 120-B, 302 of IPC r/w. 34 of IPC in Crime No.174 of 2017 and seek anticipatory bail. They have been shown as Accused Nos.7 & 8.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) appearing for the respondent and the learned counsel for the intervenor. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the intervenor has strongly opposed this Criminal Original Petition.

4.It is not in dispute that the petitioners are only accused of screening the evidence. Therefore, considering the role attributed to them, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners herein with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Sattur and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police daily at 6.00 p.m. for a period of four weeks and thereafter as and when required for interrogation.

5.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners undertakes that the petitioners shall not apply before this Court for any relaxation. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously. 6.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy is made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.
