O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner from the respondents 3 to 6 on the basis of the petitioners complaint dated 12.02.2025.

2.According to the petitioner, he is the owner of the property in S.F.No.728/21, 728/2J, 728/2K and 728/3A by way of the registered sale deed, dated 01.11.2000. While so, the private respondents causing disturbance to the petitioner's possession and also threatened with dire consequences. The petitioner is a widow and now no body is supporting her. Therefore, taking advantage of the same, the private respondents are 2/5

threatening the petitioner. Therefore, she lodged the complaint on 12.02.2025, but the same has not been considered. Hence this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the petitioner's complaint, the respondent police has fixed a date for enquiry i.e., on 01.03.2025 but she has not appeared for enquiry. However, the respondent police will issue another summons to the petitioner and the private respondents and will complete the enquiry within one week.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without even issuing notice to the private respondents, is inclined to pass order.

5.Since the second respondent admitted the receipt of the petitioner's complaint, he is directed to complete the enquiry within a period of one week from the date of this order, after affording opportunities to the parties, in accordance with law. 3/5

6.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. If any criminal activities done by either parties, the other party can very well approach the second respondent in accordance with law.
