ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who is arrayed as A1, was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 19.05.2015 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 392 r/w 397 and 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.357 of 2015 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail. 2.The prosecution case is that the accused at knife point had taken Rs.500/- from the defacto complainant.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a Social worker and he had been sending representations to the Chief Minister Cell, Home Secretary, the President of Human Rights, Director and Commissioner of Adi Thiravidar Welfare Department seeking their interference for the uplift of the Downtrodden people. He further submitted that due to the dispute between the petitioner and the business people in the locality, the respondent has been registering cases against him since 2004. The petitioner owns an immovable property in the city of Trichy, but he is alleged to have robbed Rs.500/- from the beef vendor. 4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case.
5. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) vehemently opposed the bail application stating that the petitioner is History Sheeter and 17 cases have been filed against him so far including the Robbery and attempt to murder.
6. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been acquitted in many of the cases referred by the learned Government Advocate.
7.Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
