This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondent police to file final report in connection with Crime No.297 of 2023 on the file of the respondent Police.
2. According to the petitioner, she is the defacto complainant in this case and based her complaint, a case in Crime No. 297 of 2023 was registered for the offences under Sections 420 and 506(1) of IPC. Thereafter, no proper investigation has been conducted and so far not filed any final report. Hence, she has filed this petition.
3. The Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that based on the complain given by the petitioner, they registered a case in Crime No.297 of 2023 for the offences under Section. 420 and 506(1) of IPC. Thereafter, they are conducting investigation and there are 6 accused in this case, out of 6 accused, A1, A3 and A6 are in abroad. Therefore, they are taking steps to bring them to India and thereby, they are unable to complete the investigation. However, they will complete the investigation and file final report within one month.

4. Considering the prayer sought in the petition and recording the above said submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Court directs the second respondent to complete the investigation and file final report within a period of one month from the date of this order.
5. With the above direction, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
