ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Female Temple Priest of Arulmigu Karuppanasamy Temple, Sub Temple of Arulmigu Mavootru Velappar Temple, Kadamalaigundu Village, Aundipatti Taluk, Theni District, on the basis of the petitioner's mother's representation dated 30.12.2023 and the last representation dated 11.11.2025 within the stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner wants to appoint her as a Female Temple Priest in the subject Temple. Hence, the petitioner's mother submitted representations before the respondents on 30.12.2023 and 11.11.2025. However, the said representations have not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representations of the petitioner dated 30.12.2023 and 11.11.2025 would be considered in accordance with law.

In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 30.12.2023 and 11.11.2025 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
