ORDER
The petitioner has sought for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to issue patta to the petitioner.
2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. The petitioner claiming under a Will of his father dated 30.04.1971, has sought for issuance of patta on 20.06.2023. The said application is pending without any progress. Though the third respondent has also forwarded a favourable report to the second respondent on 03.09.2024, the second respondent has not passed final orders on the petitioner's application. Hence, the petitioner has been constrained to move this Court by way of present writ petition. 2/5

Considering the limited scope which has been sought for by the writ petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of even at the stage of admission itself, directing the second respondent to pass orders, taking into account the recommendation of the third respondent, dated 03.09.2024 and pass final orders based on the the petitioner's application dated 20.06.2023 for issuance of patta within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
