Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 3rd respondent to expedite the enquiry upon the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2023 with respect to opening of the temple namely Umayal Paarvathi Sivan Sangili Karuppasamy Thirukovil situated in Mathipanur, Perumalpatti, Madurai District for general public use as expeditiously as possible within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

ORDER
Heard the learned counsel for the writ petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 4 and 5. Considering the nature of relief to be granted, issuance of notice to the respondents 6 and 7 is dispensed with.
2.The third respondent is directed to dispose of the petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve 2/4
weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. The third respondent shall put the interested persons including the respondents 6 and 7 on notice before passing final order. It is open to the third respondent to pass order one way or the other. 3.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
