ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to return the original driving licence bearing D.L.No.TN 59 19960006113.

2.I am inclined to dispose this writ petition by directing the first respondent to adjudicate the show cause notice, dated 11.03.2022 by considering the petitioner's explanation, dated 24.03.2022 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. W.P(MD).No.5126 of 2022 such order, the authorities shall also consider the decision of the Division Bench of this Court in P.Sethuram Vs The Licensing Authority, Regional Transport Officer, Dindigul reported in 2010 WLR 100, (2010) 2 MLJ 778.

3.The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
