Respondents PRAYER : This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to withdraw a sum of Rs.5,00,000/- of the Provident Fund accumulation of petitioner's own PF contribution available to the credit of first respondent for the marriage expenses of his daughter S.Suganthi, within the time stipulated as fixed by this Court.

By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. 1/3

2.The writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to withdraw a sum of Rs.5,00,000/-, as advance from his provident fund account, for the marriage expenses of his daughter, S.Suganthi, within the time stipulated as fixed by this Court.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made an application on 10.03.2022 to the respondents to sanction Provident Fund advance of Rs.5,00,000/- out of his own accumulation of PF Contribution. However, no action has been taken by the respondents till date. Hence, the petitioner filed the present writ petition for appropriate direction. 4.The learned counsel appearing for respondents would fairly submit that the petitioner is eligible to withdraw only a sum of Rs.3,50,000/-. The said amount will be released within the time as fixed by this Court.

5.However, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that whatever the petitioner is eligible to withdraw, that may be ordered to be disbursed by the respondents. 6.In view of the above submissions, this Court directs the respondents to disburse the eligible amount, not less than a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- to the petitioner, on or before 28.04.2022. 7.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
