Respondent PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to issue the order of confirmation to the petitioner for the collection of fees from the vendors for the sale of fish in the fish market and in the surrounding places within melapalayam circle for a period of three years as from 01.04.2019 to 31.03.2022 in pursuance of the public auction as held on 31.01.2019 and in which she is the successful bidder forthwith.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondent.

2. The learned Standing counsel states that the writ petitioner was the highest bidder in the subsequent auction held on 22.02.2019 and that the proposal for confirming the same will be placed before the Municipal council as and when it is convened. He would further add that the council is likely to be convened very shortly and that the petitioner would be issued the very work order.

3. Recording the said submission of the learned Standing counsel, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
