PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and accord protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament scheduled from 21.03.2020 at about 06.00 p.m to 22.03.2020 at about 12.00 a.m. at Kalaingar Thidal, Aadhanoor Post, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District on the eve of Birth anniversary of DMK Political leader Mr.Stalin and for usage of mike set during the above Kabadi Tournament.

ORDER
The present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and police protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament on 21.03.2020 and 22.03.2020 between 06.00 p.m to 12.00 a.m. at Kalaingar Thidal, Aadhanoor Post, Thuraiyur Taluk, Trichy District on the eve of Birth anniversary of DMK Political leader Mr.Stalin and for usage of mike set during the above Kabadi Tournament. Now, due to efflux of time, nothing remains to be adjudicated in the present petition and hence, the same is dismissed. No costs.
