ORDER

This Criminal Original petition is filed for issuing a direction to the first respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No.464 of 2014 and to file final report within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. It is stated that earlier, the petitioner filed a petition in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.5706 of 2015 for similar relief and by an order dated 15.04.2015, this Court directed the first respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complete the investigation in Crime No.464 of 2014 and to file final report within a period of three months. It is further stated that despite a positive direction was issued by this Court, final report was not filed. It is further stated that the respondents under the guise of getting an expert opinion, delayed the process and a direction by this Court is not complied with. It is also submitted that on 27.04.2017 itself, the expert opinion was obtained and that the respondents have not filed the final report.

4. Considering the nature of grievance expressed by the petitioner before this Court and the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The first respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.464 of 2014 and to file final report within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
