ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 herein to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioners at the time of Vice President Election scheduled to be held on 26.03.2022 for Achanpudur Town Panchayat, Tenkasi District, on the basis of the representation given by the petitioner on 21.03.2022.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the relief sought for in the Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous.
