Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to disposal of the petitioner's appeal which is pending before the first respondent's office dated 22.11.2018 to change of patta in the petitioner's name in S.No.50/1A1, 50/1A2, 50/1B1, 50/1B2 and 50/1C to an extent of 2.10 Acres in S.No.50/1 situated in Poovandhi Village, Thirupuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District within stipulated time framed by this Court.

ORDER

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the petition mentioned appeal will be disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

2.Recording the said submission, this writ petition is disposed of.

3.It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter. The first respondent shall pass orders one way or the other on merits and in accordance with law, after putting the petitioner and all the interested persons on notice. 4.It is further made clear that this Court has not given any positive direction in favour of the writ petitioner. The only direction that is now given is that the petitioner's request would be disposed of. No costs.
