ORDER

This petition has been filed praying to call for the First Information Report in Crime No.314 of 2015, on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kottar Police Station, Kanyakumari District and quash the same.

2. The petitioners are arrayed as A1 to A4 in Crime No.14 of 2015 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 294(b), 323 and 506(ii) of IPC., on the file of the 1st respondent police. 3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, a compromise memo, dated 2.6.2015, has been filed, signed by the parties, wherein it has been stated that the dispute has been settled amicably between the parties and 2nd respondent is not willing to proceed with the matter. The respective parties are also present before this Court along with their respective https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

counsels.

4.In view of the said compromise memo, no useful purpose will be served in keeping the FIR pending on the file of the first respondent.

5. In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed and the Crime No.314 of 2015, pending on the file of the first respondent, is quashed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
