2. The subject matter relates to filling the vacancy in the Child Welfare Department, Madurai District. The petitioner is one of the applicants. This Court can only direct the third respondent to consider the case of the Writ petitioner as per the Tamil Nadu Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules 2017. If the petitioner has been earlier recommended by the selection committee, he of course will have preference as per Rule 18(2) of the Rules.
