O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the first respondent to ensure that second respondent would disburse the fees amount of the petitioner to the tune of Rs.2,90,000/-forthwith in the light of the order passed by the first respondent vie proceedings No.Na.Ka.T2/9948/2023 dated 18.09.2025. 2.By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner appeared as Special Public Prosecutor and contested the case in Spl.S.C.No.65 of 2018 on the file of the Special Court for Exclusive Trial of Cases under SC/ST (PoA) Act, 1989, Sivagangai. In this regard, the first respondent has passed an order 2/5

dated 18.09.2025, directing the second respondent to pay Rs. 2,90,000/- as fees to the petitioner. However, the second respondent has not disbursed the said amount so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

4.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the amount would be disbursed to the petitioner within a period of four [4] weeks. 5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the respondents to disburse a sum of Rs.2,90,000/- to the petitioner as directed by the first respondent vide proceedings dated 18.09.2025 within a period of four [4] weeks from today. In the event of failure to pay the amount within four [4] weeks, the respondents are directed to pay interest at the rate of 10% from the date of invoice till the date of disbursement. There shall be no order as to costs.
