ORDER

The petitioner has made a complaint before the second respondent on13.11.2017. Since no action has been taken by the second respondent, this Criminal Original Petition is filed before this Court.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, submitted that based on the complaint of the petitioner, a case has been registered in Crime No.258 of 2017 on 18.12.2017 for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 506(i) IPC and 3(1) of TNPPDL Act, 1992. Subsequently, after investigation, the case was closed as mistake of fact.

3.Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. The second respondent is directed to serve a copy of the closure report to the petitioner, if not already furnished. On receipt of the same, it is open to the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law.
