O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to investigate the complaint in Cr.No. 21 of 2024, dated 13.01.2024 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 27.01.2025 in the manner known to law within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3.According to the petitioner, her husband was mentally a ill-person and against whom FIR has been registered. Thereafter, investigation is pending in this case. While so, the petitioner sent a representation on 27.01.2025 to the second respondent stating that her husband is a mentally ill-person and it has to be enquired by the investigation officer. However the same has not been considered. Hence this petition.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that in this case, already they have conducted investigation and filed final report before the Judicial Magistrate No. 5, Madurai and the same has been taken on file in CC No. 1986 of 2024. Therefore nothing survives for further adjudication. 5.The prayer of the petitioner is only to consider the representation of the petitioner. Since the respondent police have conducted investigation and filed final report before the concerned Court, nothing survives for further adjudication. In view of the above, this petition is closed by preserving the liberty of the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum in the manner known to law. 03.03.2025 Internet :Yes Index :Yes/No NCC :Yes/No PNM 3/5
