ORDER

The petitioner sought for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to dispose of his pending appeal in O.Mu.4172/2024/A4, dated 26.07.2024.

2. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents 1 to 3.

3. With the consent of the counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the third respondent has issued patta to the fourth respondent and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed an appeal petition before the second respondent. Challenging the same, an appeal has been preferred by petitioner in July 2024 before the second respondent.

5. Considering the pendency of the appeal before the second 2/4

respondent right from July 2024, it would suffice to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the second respondent to hear the appeal on merits, after affording an opportunity to the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent and pass final orders within period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
