This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the complaint of the petitioner dated 23.11.2016 and investigate the matter in accordance with law.
2. The learned Government Advocate would submit that during the enquiry, both the parties have given a statement stating that the proposed accused has acceded to settle the amount within a particular period and hence, the petitioner has also requested not to proceed with the complaint of the petitioner, failing which, the petitioner may take action against the proposed accused.
3. In the light of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
