ORDER

Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.The writ petitioner is occupying a lodge that belongs to the respondent Corporation. The respondent Corporation now proposes to demolish the lodge and put up a shopping complex. The writ petitioner's lease period has also expired.

3.All that the petitioner now seeks is that he may be allowed to run the lodge in question on payment of rent till the tender process is finalised.

4.In paragraph 10 of the affidavit, the undertaking given by the petitioner is that he would vacate and surrender the vacant possession once the tender process is concluded. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.I am of the view that the petitioner can very well allow to continue till then. The writ petition is disposed of in terms of the said undertaking given by the petitioner. No costs.
