This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register a case on the basis of the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 20.10.2017. 2.According to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner on 20.10.2017, the respondent police has already conducted an enquiry and a report of the Tahsildar with regard to genuineness of the Patta granted in favour of the proposed accused is awaited and therefore, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor seeks further time to complete the enquiry.

4.In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. The respondent shall conduct enquiry within the period stipulated above, after providing an opportunity to the parties concerned.
