Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner has given a representation dated 14.02.2019 seeking assignment in respect of the petition mentioned property.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate convincingly demonstrated that the petition mentioned land has been classified as Silaimankulam in the revenue records.

4. Patta cannot be issued in respect of what has been classified as a water body. Hence, this Court cannot issue any direction as sought for. The Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
