ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent police to file an FIR against the 3rd respondent, based on the representation given by the petitioner dated 21.04.2025.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police drew the attention of this Court to the complaint lodged by the petitioner before the Superintendent of Police, Dindigul District, who, in turn, forwarded the same to the District Crime Branch-II, Dindigul District. However, the petitioner has not chosen to implead the said authority as a party respondent in the present writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel on either sides and carefully perused the materials placed before this Court. Since no adverse order is proposed to be passed against the private respondent, notice to him is dispensed with. 2/4

4. In this regard, the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch - II, Dindigul District is suo motu impleaded as 4th respondent in this petition, for whom, Mr.S.Ravi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice. Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment.

5. Considering the fact that the petitioner's complaint is pending before the fourth respondent, the fourth respondent is directed to consider the representation/complaint dated 21.04.2025 submitted by the petitioner and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a reasonable time, if the same has not already been disposed of.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. 15.04.2026 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No Sm 3/4
