Order : This Criminal Miscellaneous petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.N.KAMESH, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.P.KOTTAICHAMY, Government Advocate(Crl.side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend the time for a period of two weeks to the petitioner for surrendering himself before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1/3

Karambakudi, in Crl.O.P(MD).No.1509 of 2024.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has paid the amount of Rs.40,000/- as ordered by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD).No.1509 of 2024 vide order dated 01.02.2024, however, he could not surrender before the trial Court within the time stipulated by this Court. Hence, this Petition has been filed.

3. In view of the same, time granted by this Court, vide order dated 01.02.2024 is extended for a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, failing which, the anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner shall stand automatically vacated.
