ORDER
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had filed this Writ Petition seeking direction against the Respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to conduct the Adal Padal programme on 08.04.2024 at 08.00 pm to 11.00 pm in connection with the 'Thiruvizha of Arulmigu Sri Badrakaliamman Kovil, Inamkarisalkulam, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District.
2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), on instructions of the respondents, would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 19.02.2024 was refused. If the petitioner gives fresh representation, the respondents are ready to pass appropriate orders in the light of the circular of the Director General of Police, Head of State Police Force, Tamil Nadu, Chennai-4, issued in Rc.007301/Genl.I(1)/2019, dated 09.04.2019. 2/4
3.Considering the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the petitioner is directed to file fresh representation. On receipt of such representation, the respondents shall pass appropriate orders in the light of the said circular imposing conditions. The petitioner as Organizer of the festival shall pay appropriate charges as per the circular of the Director General of Police, Head of State Police Force, Chennai-4, issued in Rc.No.193784/PAC-2/2017, dated 19.03.2019 for police protection.
