O R D E R

This petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to direct 3rd Respondent to give necessary police protection to petitioner and her family members for her life and limb by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.07.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The case of the petitioner is that the brother of her husband, namely, Sreenivasan, despite the order of temporary

injunction granted in I.A.No.49 of 2016 in O.S.No.17 of 2016 dated 23.04.2016 against him, has been repeatedly interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner's property; that the petitioner is also taking steps to file a petition under Order XXXIX Rule 2-A for disobedience of the order of temporary injunction and that in the meantime, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 25.07.2016 for police protection and the same has not been considered so far and therefore, the petitioner is before this Court with the relief stated supra.

4. Once a representation has been received by the respondents, it is their bounden duty to decide on the same in one way or the other. Therefore, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.07.2016 and pass orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
